The CG-3 head and tripod is larger, stronger, and more stable than Celestron's CG-2 mount. It provides solid support for many small telescopes.

The CG-3 mount features center-hinged leg braces and accessory tray. This allows for quick setup and collapsing of the tripod. Has 360° azimuth adjustment, and adjustable aluminum tripod. Tracking objects is easy with the dual slow-motion controls.

Great for mounting a 90mm to 105mm Maksutov, long 80mm and 90mm refractors, Coronado Personal Solar Telescope, long 114mm to 130mm reflectors.

Hands-free tracking is available with the optional motor drive.

The complete mount weighs 18 lbs.
